This position requires you to perform routine servicing and maintenance of an ice arena and curling rink including the refrigeration equipment; monitoring and making necessary adjustments to brine level, flow and temperature; set up rooms for functions; unload and move shipments of materials and supplies; prepare and handle various cleaning materials; undertake facility repairs; make and maintain ice using various equipment and machinery; maintain garbage disposal and re-cycling programs; maintain high level of cleanliness of various public spaces, washrooms, offices and equipment.
The preferred candidate will have:
High school graduation
Refrigeration Operator Certificate (certifed rate)
Ice Facility Operator (uncertified rate)
Current and valid Class 5 B.C. Drivers Licence
2 years of related experience

$28.49 per hr – Refrigeration Operator (certified rate) – Shift Work
(plus 14% in lieu of benefits)
