Welcome to Esquimalt Fire Rescue Services
Esquimalt Fire Rescue Services serves the Township of Esquimalt and also provides assistance to several other communities when requested which include: CFB Esquimalt, City of Victoria, District of Oak Bay, District of Saanich, District of Central Saanich, Town of View Royal, City of Langford and City of Colwood.
This commitment is to ensure the safety of residents and visitors in our Township and to safeguard the general economic welfare of the community.
The department is led by a Fire Chief, two Assistant Fire Chiefs, 28 full-time firefighters, and one administrative staff member and is located at 1151 Lyall Street next to Archie Browning Arena.
Fire vehicles include a rescue vehicle, two fire engines and a ladder truck.
Esquimalt Fire Rescue also is part of a Reciprocal Fire Services Mutual and Automatic Aid Agreement between the Township of Esquimalt, District of Saanich, City of Victoria, and District of Oak Bay.
