Pickleball Court Rentals
Starting May 18, 2024 public will be able to rent pickleball courts, at the Esquimalt Archie Browning Sports Centre!
Court rentals are $25.00 + gst per court and can hold up to 4 people. All bookings are 2 hours including the final 5 minutes as mandatory time for members to clean and vacate the courts. This time is provided to avoid congestion with the incoming group.
There are four courts available on a first come, first serve basis. A single person can book up to two courts per session. Please note, the courts are for pickleball only, no dogs, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, hockey, tennis, or other play will be permitted.
Pickleball court rentals can be make one week (seven days to the hour) prior to your desired booking time.
Court rentals can be made through our online booking system, in person at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, located at 527 Fraser Street, or by contacting reception, between 5:30am-10:30pm, at 250-412-8500. Payment is required at the time of booking. No refunds will be given for court bookings if less than 4 days notice is given.

How to book a pickleball court rental
3 WAYS TO BOOK A COURT RENTAL:
Book online, in person at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, located at 527 Fraser Street, or via phone at 250-412-8500. You can reserve courts up to 7 days in advance.
Steps to Register Online
- Court bookings will open up seven (7) days in advance (to the hour).
- Ensure your Esquimalt online account and login is set up and your birth date is accurate. If you do not have account you will need to set–up one online, by calling reception at 250-412-8500, in person at the Recreation Centre. - Login with username and password at: Esquimalt Perfectmind
- Select the type of court rental you are interested in under the Facilities Menu
- Search for availability or scroll through the list, locate court of choice and select Choose to view availability.
- Select time of choice on the grid.
- Review the summary at the bottom of the page and click Register.
- Select booker (this will default to the primary contact on your account) click Next.
- Answer questionnaire, listing the names of all individuals that will be playing on this court booking and click Next.
- Review booking and click checkout to choose payment method or add another reservation if you would like to book another court. (If your booking is incorrect click Modify booking to amend).
- Select payment method and click place my order to complete the reservation.
- Select Print Receipt or Print Contract to have the option to print or email documents. This is your record for who you played with, and if there is a conflict of booking space.
Conditions of use for courts
- Appropriate court attire and footwear is required at all times
- Courteous behaviour is expected on and off the court
- Players are not allowed to be on the pickleball courts prior to the start of their booking as it is a courtesy to the other players.
- All players must vacate the court promptly at the end of their session. *Please do not ask groups to wait until you finish a game*
- No food or beverages are to be on the pickleball courts.
No Refunds unless medical note can be provided.
Participant is required to have their own sub, should they no longer be able to attend.
