The Capital Regional District is responsible for curbside collection of recyclable materials in Esquimalt.

Recycling Depots

Esquimalt Return It in Esquimalt accepts the following materials for recycling: beverage and milk containers, computers and electronics, small appliances, household and automotive batteries, cellphones and light bulbs. Refunds are provided on beverage containers with paid deposits and all recycling services are free of charge. The Pacific Mobile Depot provides residents with an opportunity to recycle household items that are not allowed in curbside blue boxes: soft and hard plastics; styrofoam, milk and drink cartons; and electronics. Drop-off fees will apply.
