Centennial Memorial Walkway Project
The Centennial Walkway in Memorial Park was created as a legacy project to become a lasting memorial of the social fabric of our community – its people, organizations and businesses.
As part of the recent upgrade to Memorial Park, Phase II dedication pavers were installed in the park starting in September 2013. Individuals,businesses and organizations are invited to participate in the project and leave a special message for tomorrow. Remember, your paving stone dedication could honour:
- a departed loved one,
- your family,
- a special friend,
- a community pioneer,
- a current or historic business,
- a community organization or sports team.
You can reserve your paver by completing this application form. Application forms can also be picked up at the Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road, and the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser Street. Payments can be made at the Recreation Centre reception desk.
- One hundred dollars ($100) will reserve a 4”x8” small brick with 3 lines of 18 characters per line.
- Two hundred dollars ($200) will reserve a large 8”x8”brick with 4 lines of 18 characters per line.
All funds raised go towards the continued development and maintenance of the walkway.
