Extreme Weather Safety - Shelter In Place

Not all hazard will require you to leave your home. In some instances it may be safer to stay home. Extreme weather events such as winter storms,  windstorms, power outages, hazardous material spills may require you to shelter in place.

In windstorms, windstorms and power outages avoiding unnecessary travel, debris from trees or other outdoor hazards can cause injuries or unsafe conditions.

In events such as hazardous material spills, create a shelter in place kit that supports sealing your home or parts of your home.
