Provincial regulation and oversight
The Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB) oversees the regulation and licensing of establishments and events, including:
- Restaurants, bars and pubs;
- Liquor manufacturers;
- Liquor retail stores; and,
- Special events involving liquor.
Sometimes, the LCRB may send your application to the local government to get their opinion. The rules and costs for these applications sent to the Township are explained in Council Policies.
