Located next to downtown Victoria, the Township of Esquimalt, with a population of over 17,000, is home to Canada’s Pacific Naval Fleet. The community boasts extensive amenities including beautiful parks and beaches, scenic waterfront walkways as well as modern recreational facilities, schools, and commercial services.

The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a motivated individual to fill an Auxiliary Bartender position, reporting to the Lounge Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will: have a Bartenders Course or previous bartending experience, serving it right certificate and a clean Criminal Record check. 

Experience:

  • Cash handling experience
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrated ability to deal with public in a courteous and tactful manner
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Strong problem solving skills

Salary: $16.56 – $17.91 hourly + 14% in lieu of benefits
