The 7th Annual LifeMark Health Esquimalt 5K and 1K Kid’s Fun Run takes place this Saturday, March 22nd, 2014.
A modified start line for this year’s scenic and family-friendly 5K will be on Lyall Street near the Archie Browning Sports Centre back parking lot. Participants will proceed to Saxe Point Park and continue through Macaulay Point Park, finishing outside of the Esquimalt Recreation Centre on Lyall Street near the Lacrosse Box. What: LifeMark Health Esquimalt 5K & Kid’s 1K Fun Run
When: Saturday, March 22nd, 2014 (1K Kid’s Fun Run 8:00 a.m., 5K 8:30 a.m.)
Where: Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser Street
Price: $22 for the 5K until March 21st, $28 on race day/$5 for the 1K Kid’s Fun Run
There are several ways to register:
- Register online at www.esquimalt.ca/5K until 6 p.m. Thursday March 20th.
- Register by phone: 250-412-8500
- Register in person at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, open 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily.
- Day-of-race registration available at the Recreation Centre.
Race numbers/timing chips can be picked up on Friday March 21st at the Recreation Centre. On race day, participants are encouraged to walk, cycle, bus or carpool to the event. Parking is available at the Archie Browning Sports Centre, rear parking lot.
