Roller derby is back in Victoria!

Join us for the annual Pride Game and a showcase of our new rookies in the first Hard Cores game since 2019!

All the action will be at Archie Browning in Esquimalt on Saturday, July 16th. The doors open at 5pm, with games at 5:30 and 7:30pm.

All ages event! Kids under 10 are free (maximum two kids per adult please).

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Licensed beverage garden for our adult fans (please bring two pieces of ID if you plan to imbibe) featuring Spinnakers and Straight & Narrow. Saltchuck Pie Company will be at the game selling their delicious pies!

Both games will feature skaters from all our adult teams (The Belles of the Brawl, The Daisy Pushers, The Margarita Villains, and The Hard Cores). Game 1 @ 5:30pm is a Hard Cores showcase. Our newest rookie skaters, graduates of our Fresh Meat program last month, will take the track for their playing debut! Game 2 @ 7:30pm is our annual (2020/2021 not withstanding) PRIDE GAME! The Rainbow Riders will take on the Glitter Bombs in a celebration of love and derby.

Accessibility details: Our bouts are wheelchair accessible. Archie Browning has two large self-opening (automatic) doors at main entrance from level ground, there are two ramps that lead into the curling rink, where the games take place. There is accessible seating available trackside, please contact us to confirm seats if you will not be arriving at the beginning of the event, as seating is generally first-come-first-served. Two accessible washrooms are located on the main level. Please note that during our events, these are changed to all gender washrooms, a sign on the door will indicate this. While the PHO has been lifted and masks are not required you are welcome to rock one if you wish! Please stay home if you are feeling unwell or have recently been exposed to COVID-19. If regulations change, we will post an update before the event.

We acknowledge and thank the Lekwungen People, also known as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations, for allowing us to play the sport we love, and host our events on their unceded traditional territory. We are honoured to live on this land and are working towards reconciliation, decolonization, and building relationships in our communities. We, as guests, recognize the importance of their ongoing relationships with the land that continue to this day.
