Notices 

  • Saxe Point Park - Parking Lot Closure Tuesday May 27 and Wednesday May 28 - roadway and parking lot repairs
  • Esquimalt Gorge Park - the Green Team will be pulling invasive plants Saturday May 24 from 9:45am-1:00pm.  For more information or to join go to - bit.ly/gvgt-may-24-2025 or email jace@greenteamscanada.ca
  • Macaulay Park - Fort Macaulay partial trail closure, Thursday May 22 and Friday May 23 - 8 am to 3 pm.   The trail will be closed along the east side of the red brick stores buildings from the Guard House at the north to the fork in the trail at the south. Park users will be redirected along the west side of the loop. This closure is due to tree work in advance of the Fort Macaulay Interpretation Event on Saturday, May 24.
  • Adventure Park:  the merry-go-round has been removed and will be replaced with a new feature for 2025. 
  • Esquimalt Gorge Park: the North Entrance (closest to Tillicum bridge) will be CLOSED as it will be used as a staging/ laydown area for the bike lane project on the Tillicum corridor. The South Entrance will remain open for access to the park. This closure will be in effect for the foreseeable future as construction gets underway.
