Open house: OCP 2025 recalibration update

The township is making small changes to the Official Community Plan (OCP). 

The OCP is a statement of the Township’s goals and policies and is intended to provide direction for future growth and development in the community.

While some of the changes are more administrative, other changes are related to housing. As such, we welcome any input you have on the policy updates. 

The 2025 recalibration includes the following elements:

• Compliance with the most recent Housing Needs Report by ensuring policies provide for at least the 20-year total number of housing units required to meet anticipated housing needs.
• Changing the Commercial/Commercial Mixed-use land use designation to limit heights to 12 storeys.
• Housekeeping amendments.

• July 31: Open House - Farmers Market tent (4-8 pm)
