With a possible Canada Post labour disruption by July 2, 2016, and a deadline for paying property taxes of Monday July 4th, Esquimalt residents choosing to mail their property tax payment this year should do so as early as possible.
Cheques should be post marked no later than June 23, 2016 to ensure delivery before the deadline and possible disruption in mail delivery.
Instead of mailing, residents have a number of options for paying property taxes, including:
• In person at Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road, 8:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday;
• At your financial institution; and,
• At the secure mail slot located at the Municipal Hall front door.
