The entrance to the West Bay Walkway at 537 Head Street is being improved with new concrete between the parking area and the wooden walkway. The project also includes a new sidewalk around the water fountain adjacent to the Portland Loo, and replacement of a storm water drain. The Township of Esquimalt raised the Port Angeles municipal flag this morning at the Archie Browning Sports Centre as part of a festival twinning agreement. The flag raising signals that the weekend festival of ribs is almost upon us.
