There will be an outdoor concert at Bullen Park in Esquimalt on the evening of August 28, 2012 featuring Joe Walsh with special guest Kim Mitchell.
Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7:00 p.m. and ending no later than 10:30 p.m. We are expecting approximately 2000 in attendance.
Concert goers are being encouraged to take transit or walk, however high traffic is anticipated that evening. Those in cars are being encouraged to park at the Archie Browning Sports Centre or the DND parking lot on the corner of Lyall and Canteen Streets. We do not expect any road closures and plan to maintain access on all roadways.
The local police and fire department members will be in attendance as well as a licenced security company.
We appreciate your support and will try to minimize the impact to nearby neighbourhoods.
