In accordance with Section 124 of the Community Charter, the Council of the Township of Esquimalt will be considering an amendment to the existing Council Procedure Bylaw. The amending Bylaw will change the start time of Committee of the Whole meetings to 6:00 PM on the second Monday of each month and that a Council meeting may continue after 10:30 PM only by an affirmative vote of 2/3 of the Council members present.
Council will consider giving first, second, and third readings to Council Procedure Bylaw No. 2715, 2009, Amendment Bylaw [No. 6], 2021, No. 3015.
- Date and time: Monday, January 25, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Esquimalt Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road.
- Adoption of the Bylaw will be considered on Monday, February 1, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.
