Deconstruction involves selectively dismantling building components with a view to re-using, recycling and managing waste.

The contract for this deconstruction work was awarded to H.L. Demolition and Waste Management Ltd on June 20th, 2011, and the project is expected to be completed by the end of August, 2011. The initial focus of the work will be on the old Public Works Yard.

There may be periodic closures of Park Place between the Fire Hall and Esquimalt Road during deconstruction at this location. All other roadways will remain accessible during the project. Please use care near these sites while work is underway and thank you for your patience.
