Municipal Flags at Half-mast in Honour of Former Mayor Ron Warder

Flags at Esquimalt Municipal Hall and all facilities and parks have been lowered to half-mast in memory of former Esquimalt Mayor Ron Warder, who died on April 11, 2018.

First elected to Esquimalt Council in 1980, Mr Warder served as Mayor of the Township from 1987 to 1990. 

A celebration of life is planned for Mr. Warder on April 21 at 2 p.m. in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens in Royal Oak. Flags will remain at half-mast until after the celebration of life.
