Hazardous winter conditions are expected this evening into Saturday that will affect travel conditions. Snow will become mixed with ice pellets and then change to heavy rain.
Due to continued snow clearing underway, catch basins may have been covered with snow, limiting drain run-off. The Township of Esquimalt is requesting your assistance in clearing snow from the catch basin grates where possible. This will allow water to flow through the catch basins and reduce any localized flooding.
