Extremely heavy rainfall has resulted in combined stormwater and wastewater discharges along the shorelines of the Core Area. Residents are advised to avoid swimming or wading, or allowing pets in the water until further notice, including Esquimalt's south shore from McLoughlin Point west to Saxe Point.
