About the Opportunity:

The Financial Services Department is seeking a motivated individual to fill a full-time Financial Analyst position. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, the Financial Analyst supports the delivery of financial management services by providing accounting, financial analysis, reporting, and advisory support. The position helps maintain the integrity of financial records, monitors financial performance, and ensures compliance with applicable legislation, accounting standards, bylaws, policies, and procedures.  

The Financial Analyst performs intermediate-level accounting and financial analysis functions related to full-cycle accounting and municipal operations.

Our Preferred Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have their CPA designation or be a CPA candidate with five years of progressive experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in the job description, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

Preference may be made for candidates with previous experience in finance administration within the public sector. 

Salary: $48.34 – $52.15 hourly plus benefits

Hours per week: 35
