Youth Volunteer Opportunity - Environment, Parks, and Recreation Advisory Committee

We are currently looking for youth volunteers (13-18 years old) to join our Environment, Parks, and Recreation Advisory Committee!

Term length: September 1, 2026 until June 30, 2026
Eligibility: Youth between the ages of 13-18 who live or attend school in the Township of Esquimalt

  • Esquimalt Emergency Program
  • Parks and Recreation programs and special events
  • Volunteer for youth-led positions

Esquimalt Volunteer Services

  • Our purpose is to provide one-to-one assistance to persons in need.
  • Our clients are seniors living within the Township of Esquimalt.
  • Our service is income tax preparation for low income individuals.

Volunteer with Emergency Programs

The Emergency Program has several roles, from radio operators to emergency social services. Training is included for this important work. Find out more about volunteering with Emergency Programs.

Volunteer appointments to Council Committees

Volunteer your time and expertise on one of seven Council committees. The committees play a vital role in advising Council and making policy and action recommendations.

Every fall, residents are invited to apply for vacant positions by submitting a brief resume describing their interests and experience and the Committee they are interested in serving on.
