Where Tradition and Culture Come Alive
September 30th marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The annual South Island Powwow is an opportunity to recognize Survivors and their families in the spirit of reconciliation. Through song and dance, we will celebrate traditional Indigenous cultures and resiliency.

This year we are excited to introduce three specials to the day:
- Youth Special (Boys & Girls separated): 1ST PLACE $500 2ND PLACE $300 3RD PLACE $200
- Adult Ironman: 1ST PLACE $3,000 2ND PLACE $1,500 3RD PLACE $750
- Round Dance Drum Special: 1ST PLACE $5,000 2ND PLACE $2,500 3RD PLACE $1,000
