Residents and members of the public are invited to join the upcoming Township of Esquimalt budget meetings to learn about the 2026 draft budget, cost drivers, upcoming projects and initiatives, and to provide feedback on the draft budget.
Meetings are scheduled to be held in the Council Chambers, Esquimalt Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road as follows:
• Monday, March 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
• Monday, March 16, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
The 2026 draft budget is available for public review in the Corporate Services Department at Esquimalt Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road, Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., excluding Statutory Holidays, and on the Township’s website.
Enquiries and comments may be submitted by mail or email and must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on March 16, 2026. All correspondence submitted will form part of the public record and may be included in a meeting agenda published online. Comments may be submitted by:
• Emailing comments to council@esquimalt.ca;
• Mailing or delivering comments to 1229 Esquimalt Road, Esquimalt, BC, V9A 3P1; or
• Placing written comments in the drop box by the main door to Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road.
Alternatively, you may speak to the draft budget in person at the public input opportunity during the meeting. Electronic participation may be arranged by contacting Corporate Services prior to 4:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting at 250-414-7177.
Council meetings are also available via livestream and the webcasts are recorded and archived for viewing at your convenience.
