Staff continue to work hard behind the scenes to maximize the number of lessons available due to overwhelming demands while balancing available resources, most notably staffing (swim instructors).
We would like to take this opportunity to highlight and encourage anyone interested to explore aquatic training as a lifeguard, swim and/or waterfit instructor. There is a significant staffing shortage in the region (and the province). All aquatic facilities in the region are working collaboratively and with the regulatory agencies to mentor, train and appropriately certify persons. All information published in our online schedule is managed in real-time and will always have the most up-to-date information. We encourage you to make use of this tool to assist you in planning for your child's lessons.
