Youth Volunteer Opportunity - Environment, Parks, and Recreation Advisory Committee
We are currently looking for youth volunteers (13-18 years old) to join our Environment, Parks, and Recreation Advisory Committee!
Term length: September 1, 2026 until June 30, 2026
Eligibility: Youth between the ages of 13-18 who live or attend school in the Township of Esquimalt

The Terms of Reference outlines the Committees purpose and structure.
The purpose of the Environment, Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee is to assist Council to accomplish its goals and objectives as outlined in Council’s priorities. In May 2022, Council merged the Environmental Advisory Committee with the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. The Committee will, consistent with the purpose described above:
- Provide advice and recommendations to Council on any matters referred to the Committee by Council; and
- Provide input on parks and recreation issues as requested by staff.
This committee includes a youth representative.
