Term length: January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2027. 
Meetings: The Committee typically meets every 4th Wednesday of each month, except July, August, and December at 6:00 PM.

The Terms of Reference outlines the Committees purpose and structure.

The purpose of the Environment, Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee is to assist Council to accomplish its goals and objectives as outlined in Council’s priorities. In May 2022, Council merged the Environmental Advisory Committee with the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. The Committee will, consistent with the purpose described above:

  • Provide advice and recommendations to Council on any matters referred to the Committee by Council; and
  • Provide input on parks and recreation issues as requested by staff.
This committee includes a youth representative.
