Fines

An Animal Control Officer or Bylaw Management Officer may issue a fine or Municipal Ticket Information (MTI) to any person not complying with bylaws in Esquimalt. Ticketable offences and fines are listed in the Bylaw Notice Enforcement Bylaw. For more information on the Bylaw Notice Enforcement Bylaw please call 250-414-7161.

Pay Fines

Tickets can be paid:

• In person by cash, cheque, money order, or debit card at the Municipal Hall (1229 Esquimalt Road)
• By mail by cheque or money order (in Canadian funds) payable to the Corporation of the Township of Esquimalt and mailed to:

Payments must be accompanied by the ticket (or a copy of it) or by a note that includes:

• the ticket number
• your full name and address
• the date of the offence
• the bylaw name and section of the offence

By paying the fine you will be deemed to have pled guilty to the described offence.

Receipts are not provided for payments received by mail. Your cancelled cheque or money order receipt is your proof of payment.
