Steacy Henry of Esquimalt was presented with two Olympic Games tickets on Monday, February 1st.  Steacy’s online entry form was chosen by random draw on Monday, January 25, 2010.

“It was great to get the phone message saying I won,” said Steacy. “I am so excited to get these tickets.” Mayor Barb Desjardins  presented the tickets to Steacy at Municipal Hall.

The Township of Esquimalt won the tickets to the Mens’ Cross Country Skiing 50 km Mass Start Classic through the Gamestown 2010 contest, in which Esquimalt residents submitted stories about how they thought their community supports sport and healthy living.

The cross country ski event will be held on February 28, 2010 at Whistler Olympic Park.

Congratulations Steacy!
