The Wastewater Treatment Project Team is currently working with the municipalities of Saanich, Esquimalt, and Victoria on the route of the Residual Solids Conveyance Line. Preliminary geophysical and geotechnical work will provide additional information about the subsurface conditions along the proposed route.
Subject to receiving the necessary permits, the geotechnical work is anticipated to begin on the week of August 21 and will take approximately six weeks to complete depending on the weather. A truck mounted drilling rig will be used to drill approximately 70 boreholes along the proposed route of the Residual Solids Conveyance Line.
