As construction continues at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, Esquimalt Parks & Recreation thanks users for their ongoing patience.
During construction, the public is asked to enter the centre through the rear doors, by Bullen Field, closest to the parking lot.
The upgrades to the Recreation Centre include:
- New flooring
- New multi-purpose room adjacent to the pool
- New reception area
- Improved programmable kitchen
- Improved multi-purpose seniors room
- Improved atrium
Estimated completion of construction is scheduled for February 15th, 2014. The continued patience of all facility users is greatly appreciated.
