Township Flags at Half-Mast in Recognition of the Day of Mourning

The Canadian flag has been lowered to half-mast at all Township of Esquimalt facilities today in recognition of the Day of Mourning, a day for workers, families, employers, and others to come together to remember those who have lost their lives to work-related incidents or occupational diseases.

The flag will remain at half-mast until sunset.
