The Township of Esquimalt will be auctioning off 49 Olympic Banners which lined the streets of Esquimalt during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Proceeds from the auction will go towards Esquimalt’s Centennial Celebrations in 2012.
A selection of banners will be signed by members of the gold medal-winning Men’s Olympic Curling Team, who participated in this year’s Victoria Curling Classic, held at Archie Browning Sports Centre in Esquimalt from March 25th to 28th.
Bids may be e-mailed to Vicki Klyne, or dropped-off at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser St, Esquimalt, BC, V9A 6H6. Include name, address, and phone number with your bid amount. Also indicate whether you would like a signed or unsigned banner.
Limit two banners per family. Auction will close on April 30th at 4:30pm.
