Esquimalt Firefighters made a statement against bullying on April 14th by donning pink shirts at the Esquimalt Fire Hall.

Pink Shirt Day is intended to push back against all forms of bullying. The event is inspired by a Grade 9 student in Nova Scotia who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school in 2007. Two of his fellow students helped him organize a protest, handing out pink shirts at the school to show solidarity.
