In accordance with Section 124 of the Community Charter, the Council of the Township of Esquimalt will be considering amendments to Council Procedure Bylaw, No. 2715, 2009. The amending bylaw proposes to update procedures related to:
• Suspension of the rules;
• Electronic meetings;
• Electronic participation at meetings;
• Motions at Committee meetings; and
• General housekeeping amendments.
Council will consider giving first, second and third readings to Council Procedure Bylaw No. 2715, 2009, Amendment Bylaw, 2021, No. 3044 on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Esquimalt Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road. Adoption of the Bylaw will be considered on Monday, November 1, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.
A copy of proposed Bylaw No. 3044 is available for viewing here and is also available for public inspection at Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road, as well as the Bulletin Board located at Municipal Hall.
