In accordance with section 124 of the Community Charter, the Council of the Township of Esquimalt will be considering an amendment to the existing Council Procedure Bylaw. The amending Bylaw will add a deadline of Noon on the day of the Council meeting, for receipt of written submissions, also known as “late items”, to be included on the Council meeting agenda once approved by Council at the start of the meeting.
Council will consider giving first, second and third readings to Council Procedure Bylaw No. 2715, 2009, Amendment Bylaw [No. 4], 2020, No. 2992.
- Date and time: Monday, February 24, 2020 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers, Esquimalt Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road.
- Adoption of the Bylaw will be considered on Monday, March 2, 2020, at 7:00 p.m.
