Residents can choose mail-in ballots for this year's election
Esquimalt Council adopted a bylaw earlier this year authorizing voting by mail in the upcoming Township of Esquimalt 2022 General Local Elections to all eligible voters.

Election details
A Mayor, six (6) Councillors and nine (9) School Trustees will be elected for a four (4) year term in the 2022 election.
The School District Trustees Election will be conducted by the Township of Esquimalt. Information on the Trustee Elections can be found at the Greater Victoria School district website.
Two Advance Voting opportunities are scheduled for October 5 and 12, 2022, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser St, Esquimalt.
General Voting Day is scheduled for October 15, 2022, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser St, Esquimalt.
