UPDATED 4:20 P.M. Gas line is sealed and Admirals Road is now open.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. this afternoon a residential gas line was ruptured on Admirals Road near Woodway Road by a road construction crew.
Esquimalt Fire Rescue is on scene and Fortis BC is at the site working on the rupture.
For safety reasons, Admirals Road will be closed between Esquimalt Road and Colville Road until further notice.
