Esquimalt Welcomes New Director, Engineering and Public Works

The Township of Esquimalt is pleased to announce Jeff Miller as its new Director, Engineering and Public Works effective October 26, 2009. Jeff is a professional engineer with several years experience at the management level in engineering and public works, most recently as environmental planning superintendent with the City of Red Deer.

With several infrastructure projects on the go in the Township, Jeff will bring both technical and management experience to Township municipal engineering projects. “We look forward to having Jeff on board during this busy time of infrastructure improvements,” said Mayor Barb Desjardins. “Moving forward, he will be a vital part of providing engineering, transportation and public works solutions for our community.”

Jeff has eight years experience in various management positions with the City of Red Deer, as well as considerable consulting experience based in Kitimat and Edmonton. Most recently, Jeff was responsible for the overall management of a $35 million waste water treatment plant upgrade in Red Deer.
