Ways to pay for your 2021 business licence
By mail (preferred)
Mail your remittance slip and payment to the Esquimalt Municipal Hall at 1229 Esquimalt Road, Esquimalt BC V9A 3P1
Via the drop box (preferred)
Drop off your remittance slip and payment in the drop box to the left of the main entrance of the Esquimalt Municipal Hall at any time, and we will mail your licence to you.
In person

- Currently open for licence payments Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Schedule an appointment to pay in person outside these hours by calling 250-414-7100
Closing your file
If you receive a Business Licence Renewal invoice but your business has ceased to operate, please sign and return the invoice, stating “CLOSED”; email [email protected]; or call 250-414-7136 for more information.
Deadline reminder
Business licence fees are due and payable by January 31 of each year.
A $25 late fee will apply to all (renewal) business licence accounts as of February of that renewal year. All businesses must have a valid licence to operate in the Township of Esquimalt.
