20th annual Christmas food drive kicks off November 27

The Township and CUPE staff are collecting food in support of Esquimalt
Neighbourhood House.

Non-perishable foods can be dropped off at any Township of Esquimalt facility between November 27 and December 18.

Donations can also be left out for pick-up. On normal garbage pickup days, residents can place nonperishable food items in bags labelled “food drive.” A separate vehicle will pick up the donation.

Pick up schedule:

  • Week of December 2 to 6, 2019 (north side route)
  • Week of December 9 to 13, 2019 (south side route)

About Esquimalt Neighbourhood House

ENH is a non-profit that provides support services to children, youth, adults, families and seniors.
They are funded through MCFD, the United Way, the Victoria Foundation, Health Canada, Island Health (family services), the Township of Esquimalt, and BC Gaming.
They also receive donations from generous local businesses, organizations, individuals and groups.
