The current Zoning Bylaw provides a range of multiple family uses at differing densities from townhouses through to apartment buildings.
Parcels identified for multi-family use are part of a Development Permit Area No.1 outlined in the Official Community Plan and are subject to design guidelines. These guidelines apply to new buildings and to major renovations or the strata title conversion of existing buildings.
A Rezoning Application is required if you wish to develop a multiple family use at a higher density than what is permitted under the current zoning.
