    Connecting Community and History through the Treasures of Archives: Discover, remember, and share the history of Esquimalt

    Join Dr. Dulma Karunarathna, Archivist, Esquimalt Municipal Archives for a lively and interactive session exploring the fascinating history of Esquimalt through the lens of archives and recollect the precious memories preserved in documents, maps, photographs, and personal accounts. This talk will bring those archives to life showcasing how residents’ lives, local events, and global connections shaped the character of Esquimalt. We will explore unique treasures from the archives and discuss how they reveal stories of resilience, change, and community.
