Capital West Accessibility Advisory Committee Vacancy
We are currently accepting applications to volunteer as Esquimalt's representative on the Capital West Accessibility Advisory Committee. For more information on the Committee, click here.
The Capital West Accessibility Advisory Committee meets a minimum of four (4) times per year at 2:00 PM on the fourth Wednesday of February, May, September and November. Committee meetings are hosted on an annual rotational basis by the member municipalities.
Eligibility Criteria: An individual who has a disability, supports someone with a disability, or works with organizations who supports persons with disabilities.
Term Length: September 2025 - December 31, 2026.
Application Deadline: 4:00 PM, August 29, 2025.

How can I provide public input?
As these Committees, Boards, and Commissions serve as an advisory role to Council, public input opportunities are not provided as part of their meeting agendas. However, public input may be provided to Council on any recommendations the Committees, Boards, and Commissions bring forward.
