Archie Browning Sports Centre Guidelines for Participants

The Archie Browning Sports Centre is re-opening after closing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the safety of public and staff please carefully review the following:

Re-open for Booked Users Groups Only: August 28-September 7, 2020

Our gradual re-opening begins with sport organizations operating under Via Sport and sport-specific operating guidelines, and booked in advance through facility bookings. Any users group looking to reserve space by complete and have approved, a facility-specific COVID Risk Assessment and Response Plan. Re-open for Public Skating: September 8, 2020

Public skating will resume by advanced reservation only on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020. Registration for public skate sessions will open September 1st, 2020. View the arena drop-in schedule through our online catalog. Public skates will not run on statutory holidays. 

After registration opens,  space can be reserved up to 14 days in advance. Skate rentals can be booked for $3.50/pair upon reservation, no helmets available - please bring your own (bike helmets are suitable). Please book skates in advance. All equipment will be sanitized before and after use. 

Skate Lessons Resume: September 29, 2020

As of August 26th, 2020 we are planning for skate lessons to resume on September 29th with registration opening on September 1st. Please check back for more information.
