Notice

The Triathlon of Compassion is an annual fundraiser for the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre.  Over the last 25 years it has raised over $300,000 to support programs and services of the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre. The 2018 event will take place on Sunday, June 24th at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre.  Please be advised that public lap swimming will be limited to 1 lane during the event, 5:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

The Triathlon of Compassion race is ideal for first-time triathletes because of its sprint distance. We also welcome experienced athletes to use it as a tune-up or season opener. The Tri is an opportunity for participants to give back and make a difference in their community by raising money and awareness for an important cause.

The 2018 event will feature the popular adult sprint race (500m swim, 20k bike and 5k run) as well as a full range of Kids of Steel distances for ages 6 – 15 years old.

For complete event information including teh bike and run routes, please visit the Triathlon of Compassion website.
