Community Volunteer Income Tax Program

The Esquimalt Volunteer Tax Program provides a complimentary completion of taxes for low income members of the community. To be eligible for this program, persons must be Esquimalt residents and fall within the noted income thresholds:

  • Individual - $35,000;
  • Couple - $45,000;
  • +$2,500 for each dependent.

Please be advised that there is no drop-off service available; service is provided on a first come, first-first served basis. Clients are kindly asked to wait with all of their documents as signatures are required before taxes can be filed.

Location Information:

The Archie Browning Sports Centre is located at 1151 Esquimalt Road. The Tax Service takes place in Meeting Room A - when entering from the rear parking lot of the centre, this is the first room on your left. 

The Rainbow Kitchen is located in the Esquimalt United Church located at 500 Admirals Rd.
