Experience the magic of the holidays at our seventh annual Christmas Tree Village.

We have adapted our usual transformation of the Esquimalt Recreation Centre atrium and the Archie Browning Sports Centre into a virtual event this year!

We are calling for submissions from Esquimalt community groups and businesses alike to submit a photo of their decorated tree which will be displayed in our online gallery and on our Facebook Page. Please email your submission for the Christmas Tree Village now. Submissions will be open until November 30, 2020.

Photo guidelines

Please submit a photo of your tree and decorations only, no people!
Include a caption of any information you'd like to share (max 50 words).
Please submit a portrait version of your photo (hold the camera vertically).

Decorate your tree in its usual festive grandeur, snap a photo and send it in to be considered. At this time we are only accepting submissions from Esquimalt community groups and business. Please submit your photo submission to: [email protected] and include the following information:

People's Choice voting - opens December 2, 2020

"Like" the picture you like the most to submit a vote for that tree. At the end of the voting period, the tree with the most likes will win our Prize Package valued over $300 from Esquimalt Recreation. Voting will be open until December 18, 2020.
