The Esquimalt Road corridor from Lampson to Head Street is being upgraded with new surfacing and line painting, and new traffic signals will be installed at the intersection of Lampson and Esquimalt Road. Existing bike lanes will be maintained.
UPDATE September 23, 2016: Paving on Esquimalt Road cancelled for Friday September 23 due to weather. Paving is tentatively scheduled to resume on Monday September 26th.
Construction work is expected to cause some short-term traffic disruptions. The Township appreciates the patience of residents and commuters while the work is being completed. Please reduce speed and watch for traffic controllers. The construction contractor is G & E Contracting Limited.
Work hours for the project are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. The work is expected to be completed by the end of September.
