To improve safety and visibility for all road users, no parking zones will be extended and painted yellow at all road intersections in Esquimalt. Vehicles parked too close to intersections can obstruct views for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.
The work is expected to begin during the week of March 19-23, 2018 and take approximately two weeks to complete, weather dependent.
The safety improvement is being made in accordance with changes recently made to the Township’s Streets and Traffic Regulation Bylaw.
Motorists are advised to watch for crews at intersections and to reduce speed.
