As part of an extensive regional technology upgrade, Capital Region Emergency Service Telecommunications (CREST) is adding several new transmission sites across the region, including one emergency communications mono-pole at Highrock Park.
Site preparation for the mono-pole installation is taking place January 30 - February 28, 2017. During the preparation phase, temporary, partial trail interruptions will occur. Signage will be posted at park entrances.
During the mono-pole installation - which will require the use of a helicopter - the park will be closed for a half day. It is expected that the mono-pole will be installed in March, 2017.
